It is on behalf of the Iberian Associations AEN, (Asociación Española de Neuropsiquiatría), SEP (Sociedad Española de Psiquiatría) and SPPSM (Sociedade Portuguesa de Psiquiatria e Saude Mentale)  co-organizers of the XVI WPA World Congress that we are cordially welcoming you and inviting you to attend the Madrid 2014 World Congress, organized by WPA, which will be taking place from September 14th to 18th.

An important effort is already being made by WPA and our Associations to achieve a high level attractive Scientific programme. The 21st century presents new psychiatric challenges:  clinical outcomes, research, social structures, …, many changes have and are taking place, but many old battles are still to be won.  We look forward to your contribution, on these many issues incorporating the richness and difference which the many environments around the world offer. Free presentations which will be increasing the value for all those attending the meeting, an opportunity to share with colleagues, which were over 14.000 from over 112 countries at the last World Congress (Buenos Aires 2011)
